Trouser Snake Lake - Our Swimming Hole at Pasture Prime One of the very first improvements made at Pasture Prime was the creation of our pond.  Lorelei had the vision and Carl had the skills.  Using rented equipment, he created the pond in a mere 11 days. The guesstimate was a couple of years before the pond would completely fill.  Due to the rolling landscape and a lot of early Spring rain, it filled in 4 months. Whenever friends and family came to visit, they were put to work collecting rocks to fill out the drainage retention wall; eventually, we collected rocks from the creek to fill in the area. Visiting the pond today, one would never know that it did not exist 3 years ago.
